Signing Contract for Construction of Renewed Water Transmission System to (Taiba 1) & (Taiba 2)

In an extension of a previous agreement between the Saudi Irrigation Organization and the Saudi Power Procurement Company (Principal Buyer), a contract was signed on Sunday, February 11, 2024, to develop a system for transmitting renewed water from Khalil station in Madinah to the (Taiba 1) and (Taiba2) independent production stations.

This event took place in Riyadh with the Saudi Power Procurement Company and Mohammed Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi Sons Company for Trading, Industry, and Contracting as the signatories, in the presence of the General Director of Projects from the Saudi Irrigation Organization, the financer of the project. The CEOs of the Saudi Power Procurement Company and Mohammed Al-Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi Sons Company inked the contract. These essential projects represent a significant move to strengthen infrastructure for power generation, which will help support sustainable development and enhance the efficiency of the independent electricity production system in Saudi Arabia.
