Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Saudi Electricity Company, where he led strategic initiatives that supported the sector’s growth and development. He also held leadership roles at GE Power across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, contributing to the development and management of energy projects in these markets.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in the USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University.He has also participated in several specialized leadership programs.
Eng. Mohamed Banjabi is the Chief Consultant at Principal Buyer Company, where he oversees company overall operations , and advises the CEO to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution across the organization. He brings executive experience across the Saudi Vison 2030 program, strategy execution, corporate functions, energy, and petrochemicals sectors. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President at the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program and held senior roles at GE Power Services, GE Oil & Gas, and SABIC.
Mohamed holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Widener University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tampa.
Eng. Ammar Zwawi is the Chief Market Development Officer at Principal Buyer Company, leading the development of new power generation projects under the IPP model and supporting the delivery of national energy transition targets. Prior to joining Principal Buyer Company, he was an Advisor at the Ministry of Energy. In this capacity, he represented the Ministry’s interests on various subjects with the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers and in initiatives led by other government stakeholders, bringing experience across large-scale renewable and conventional generation projects.
Ammar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. He also completed GE’s highly selective, two-year Technical Sales Leadership Program.
Eng. Hani Al-Mehmadi is the Chief Strategy & Planning Officer at Principal Buyer Company, where he leads strategic planning, power system planning, market analysis, and key initiatives that support the long-term development of Saudi Arabia’s power sector. He brings experience across energy strategy, power system planning, and electricity market development, with a strong focus on reliability, affordability, and long-term sector sustainability.
Hani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UMM-ALQURA University and actively contributes to regional discussions and initiatives related to electricity market integration.
Aljawharah AlAssaf, JD serves as the Chief Legal & GRC Officer at Principal Buyer, where she oversees the legal, governance, risk, and compliance functions. In this capacity, she provides critical support for the company’s large-scale power initiatives and energy transition programs, drawing on her extensive experience in the regulatory, commercial, and corporate legal landscapes of the Saudi energy ecosystem. In addition to her executive role, Aljawharah serves as the Board Secretary to the Board of Managers. She leverages her legal expertise to facilitate seamless board operations and support strategic oversight.
She earned her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Richmond School of Law and holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Law & Society and International Business from American University in Washington, D.C.
Abdullah AlBrahim is the Chief Shared Services Officer at Principal Buyer Company, where he leads Human Resources, Business Services, Cybersecurity & DMO, and Industrial Security & Safety. He brings extensive experience in the energy and electricity sector, with expertise in business development, market analysis, and strategic initiative management. He previously served as General Manager of Business Development and Market Studies at the Ministry of Energy and as Head of Electricity Trading at Aramco Power Company. He also contributed as a subject matter expert in the tendering and management of power projects at Saudi Aramco.
He holds an MBA in Strategy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University.
Eng. Ehab AlJudaibi is the Vice President of Market Supply Chain at the Principal Buyer Company, where he leads pipelines management, national fuel planning, procurement, and logistics to support power generation across the Kingdom. He has experience in power systems, energy planning, and fuel supply chain strategy.
He holds a Master’s degree in Power Systems from King Abdulaziz University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Control Engineering from Arab Academy for Science and Technology.
Eng.Yasser AlShahrani is the Vice President of Market Operations at Principal Buyer Company, where he leads the Kingdom’s market commercial operations, overseeing power trading activities and commercial agreements to ensure grid stability and reliability. He plays a key role in strengthening stakeholder engagement, enabling data-driven decision-making, and enhancing access to accurate and reliable commercial market data. He previously held several leadership positions, including General Manager at EXPRO. He also represented EXPRO in various committees and served as Chief Project Manager. Additionally, He gained extensive experience in the energy and electricity sectors through his work at Saudi Aramco and General Electric International.

She brings experience across the energy and water sectors, strengthening stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration at scale. A proven leader, she previously served as Deputy Governor of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development at SWCC, where she drove high-impact partnership initiatives and business development strategies.
She holds an MBA from Prince Sultan University.
